Serving the needs of more than 80,000 citizens and government employees means tracking thousands of documents and processes. Because these paper-intensive processes consume a great deal of government staff time, the municipality has moved to RAMZ, its IT operations and implementation contractor, to build a document management system with Microsoft SharePoint. RAMZ cooperated with Nintex partner, Orchidasoft to formulate a dedicated ERP system with integrated portals and Nintex Workflow. The system, called GRP or Government Resource Planning, met the requirements directly in all areas: government protocols and the full user interface in Arabic.
In search of flexibility, scalability and regulatory compliance
The automation of internal processes and the provision of electronic services to more than 80,000 citizens rely on a flexible technical platform with the ability to expand and integrate third-party platforms. With the additional need to comply with government regulations, Nintex Workflow has only been designated as the preferred product to provide effective services to both employees and citizens.

As is common throughout Saudi Arabia, the municipality uses most of its IT needs for companies that offer site and / or remote assistance. Due to the success of this project, the RAMZ business relationship with the municipality has grown further, and the IT contractor is planning to create additional Nintex jobs to provide faster public services to its citizens.
Provide an ideal user experience and real-time notifications
Previously, citizens applying for government services did not know the status of their applications until they were approved or rejected by the municipality. With Nintex Forms and Nintex Workflow at the top of the power, citizens can now use e-services and track their status
Applications at any point in the process.
Not only are citizens able to proactively track their applications, Nintex Workflow is easily integrated with the national SMS service
